How it all started...
Faith was founded in 1968 as a church plant of the American Baptist Churches, USA. Originally, the church met in Croninger Elementary School which began a wonderful relationship between Faith and the school. In 1970, the current building was opened at 6600 Trier Rd. Pastor Joe Baker was the founding pastor.
Expanding the vision...
As a way of serving the community, Faith began the Faith Baptist Preschool Academy in 1972 . Faith has also developed and valued relationships with other community organizations such as Georgetown Little League and Associated Churches.
In 2017, Faith joined the North American Baptist Conference. Over the last 10 years, Faith has expanded its impact on the community. Through Faith Kids Care, Upward Basketball, and other outreach ministries, Faith has demonstrated in multiple ways its love for the people of Fort Wayne.

Where we are headed...
Faith continues to be open to the ways the Lord is leading. We desire to be used by him to love the people of Fort Wayne. We want to be faithful to him and engage people to know Jesus in whatever ways would fulfill God’s will.
